{one of the hardest things}

Paisley had tubes put in over a week ago. Although the procedure wasn't a big deal, it is still hard to hand over your baby to a complete stranger and watch them walk down the long hall with them. What kept me from losing it was the realization that this "hospital life" is a normal way of life for some parents and their children. I knew that come an hour after I gave her over that we would be walking out of there. My heart goes out to the parents who live day in, day out in hospitals praying that their children get to walk out.

This is little miss after getting checked in. Yes, those are Michelin arms and I love them!
They put her in this cute gown. It was a little snug but I have a feeling that baby gowns are one size fits all. She can't help it that she is a little thick in areas! :)
 Her tag and monitor.

And her favorite thing to do...hang over the edge of the bed and look underneath.
It went just as I expected. Procedure took 10 minutes and she was very mad when they got her back to us. I heard her coming before I actually saw her. She cried hard for 30 minutes and nothing calmed her down. After that, she was fine and we were off to big sister's end of year program at preschool.

We did notice she got immediate relief and slept awesome for 3 nights - yip - 3 nights. After that, she started cutting 2 more teeth and has been night waking. Maybe between teeth coming in we can get some sleep. :)
