{bigger Garden}
Dane and the kids planted our garden last night. You might remember last year's version. Our garden is bigger this year but so was the help. Inflation has gotten us this year, we spent 6 more dollars for this year's garden vs. last year. :)

{numero 7}
If these eyes could talk they would tell you that she has ear infection number 7 and just 4 days shy of our ENT appointment. We need some relief!
{wild Flowers}
Paige picked these "in a ditch" while traveling with Dane yesterday. She was so proud of herself and her gift to me. She has no idea what the flowers really mean though...her dad would pick these types of flowers for me when we were dating and put them in a coke can. Cheap, yes...sweet, absolutely!
{these feet, hands, heart...}
For Aunt Ashley...wish you could have been there live! :)
{this violates my self-rules about posting and kids but I know most of these kid's parents and was just too cute not to share}

{Mother's Day/Birthday Trip to Granny's}
We went, we ate, we played, we chased chickens, peacocks, parrots, dogs, lizards and granny! Here are some snapshots from our Sunday afternoon in Yellville.

{mom...will you push me?}
My mantra lately has been "be where your feet are". This is hard to do...but when I practice this, I am more full and feel like all aspects or my life are balanced. When at work, be at work...when at home with the kids, really be at home with the kids....I think you get the picture.

So next time I get asked to push my kids on the swing, my answer will be absolutely! And I will do my best to forget about all that needs to be done before the next day gets here.

{Umbrella}
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
{nephews}
We took these 2 nephews, who happen to live next to us and were about to plant potatoes with dad (you can thank me later for rescuing you!) to the baseball game with us last Friday. I'm still not certain how our night out alone without our munchkins turned into a night out with our nephews but we had fun and I think they did too. If their level of fun was determined by how much food they ate, then I would say they had an awesome time!

{on a Brighter note}
Some might have seen my last post as way too negative. Well, it mostly was and reflects life as I am in it. Not all days are like that, but that is why I have this blog...to scrapbook our lives - good and bad!
But, on a brighter note...we celebrated my grandpa's 75th birthday this past weekend and that was fun and I have NO pictures. Good grief! It was fun to see him and celebrate his life but even better to see my bloodline from Texas. You see, we have our own secret language where words never even have to be exchanged. And I miss this but until she lives closer, I live for weekend visits where we don't ever get to really talk but instead chase our kids and occasionally get a kitchen chat in. This certain bloodline also has a birthday this week and begins her last year in the 20's.
There were also Big Wheel races down the hill. No pics of that either.
And, Paisley is now crawling and loves to play on her knees. I need time to stand still!
