You should always have that someone in your life that puts things in
perspective for you. When life gets complicated, when you get exhausted, when you get down, when you think you are failing in ALL parts of your life. You need a mentor that has been there, done that and can now tell you from the other side what is
truly important and you believe them for the walk that they have been on. Here was the turning point for me yesterday (and I am recording this as a reminder to me!) text message I received.... "You are not whining! It's big stuff. Perspective! Here is some for you! You can't do everything! I know you know that. But your kids need you right now. They won't always need you like they do right now! Stay in the game with them!"
