Trip to the Fair

We braved the chill and rain last night to take the kids to the fair and to see our nephew's goats and pigs. Paige took her alligator just in case they needed a late entry.

We made the haul to Texas this past weekend for Little Holt's first birthday party. It was lots of fun but I am not sure the Lightners will have us back! Their house turns in to a circus when the Addingtons and Flynts come to town. Plus, we were short 2 kids and 2 adults....geez!! They have this awesome community pool and we took full advantage...did I mention it was HOT in Texas!

Paige Time

Friday night we took Paige to the Razorback Baseball game. She seemed to like it and did very well being confined to our seats. She danced when the music played for the batters and loved watching the girls dance on the dugout. She was not a fan of the mascot though.

If she only knew how good our seats were and someday she will when her girlfriend (Ava, I am sure) will be going instead of Dane and I. Did I mention how humid it was! You can tell by our balmy (sp?) skin!

Oklahoma Aquarium and Hot Cars!

This past Saturday we took the kids to the Oklahoma Aquarium. Paige loved it, Dane chased her around and Brady and I just sat back and watched. Later that night, we stopped by a car show in Rogers where Papa and Grandma Addington had their Corvette.

Blame it on the RAIN!

If you are a follower of this blog, then you are very aware of the lack of consistent posting that happens. Isn't it pathetic?! My sister-in-law has a two year old and 4 month old twin girls and does a better job than me! I am so excited to have failed at something else in my life...blogging!


So, I don't know about you all but we are tired of the rain! I was putting our youngest down for a nap and singing to him (like normal) and the song that popped into my head was "blame it on the rain" by Milli Vanilli...wow, did I just age myself? Do you all remember that freakish band that actually wasn't even a real band? Well, anyways, we are getting cabin fever at the Addington household. Don't get me wrong, we are very thankful for rain; I just need some relief from trying to keep our 2 year old entertained in the house! She loves to play outside (I mean play in the mud), especially since her dad just recently built her a swingset. Below are some pictures of that process.
