Wind Chimes

After my Grandma Thelda passed away last September, I "swiped" her wind chimes from her front porch. I always loved to hear those chime when I visited her. Brady is sick, he has an ear infection, is teething and basically feels rough. I was rocking him to sleep last night, praying (more like pleading) he would sleep long enough for me to get some things done, and ringing loud and very clear on my front porch was Grandma's wind chimes. After fighting back a few tears, I thought of Grandma and how she loved to rock and hold her great-grandchildren. I rocked him extra long last night just for you Grandma!

Cooking with Paige

Paige's latest passion is playing in the water while we cook supper. She loves filling cups, pooring water, getting the floor and herself soaked, and turning on and off the water. At first I was disturbed at this so called 'fun' but in the words of my smart brother, "what is the big deal?". So true, after all it is only water!

Brady loves when his Texas cousin comes to visit (they are 5 days apart, Holt older and wiser). Hopefully Holt will move closer so Brady won't be lonely. :)

Christmas Morning

Christmas Eve we had Paige's 2 year and Brady's 6 month well child visits. Only I would schedule shots on Christmas Eve. Well shots were the least of our concerns, we found out Paige had a mega ear infection. So on Christmas morning she slept till 10:30. Being the 'wait till the last minute' gal I am, this gave me enough time to get her presents wrapped!
